Shearling Booties
The terms sheepskin and shearling describe different products and garments crafted from the hide of a lamb. The words often are used interchangeably and can create some confusion for consumers. Shearling lambskin is actually the correct term for such material, however because the term sheepskin is so popular, many retailers will refer to sheepskin items or combine the two terms and describe shearling sheepskin, when in fact, all items are made from shearling lambskin.
Why is Fashion so Important to Teens?
Look at any advertisement for a fashion store, and you are likely to notice that most of the models are teens. In Western culture, especially, fashion is an extremely important component of teenage life.
For teenagers, fashion is first and foremost a social statement. It is an outward means of expression to their peers and the rest of the world.
Fashion also provides teenagers a sense of identity by signaling which "grouping" they belong to ("prep," "punk," "goth," etc.). It may also signal a more independent or inclusive personality.
Teens can be extremely conscious about overall image when it comes to sexual attraction. They will often exploit fashion as a means to attract a certain type of person.
Rebellion may also be acted out via fashion. Since rebellion is often a huge aspect of a teenager's life, it is not shocking that teens often use licentious or shocking fashion to rebel against their parents, their classmates, and/or society.
Many teens pick up on fashion trends in an effort to stave off humiliation and mocking from peers. Poor fashion choices in the eyes of others can often be an open door to ridicule
Often, fashion for teenagers is the result of the desire to be like a celebrity. Celebrities are perhaps the greatest influences on teenagers in the modern world, and they can have a huge impact on a teen's ideas about fashion and its importance.
Why fashion is important?
It expresses who you really are through your clothes. the way you dress can give people an idea of what you are like as a person. If you feel you want to dress what the media considers fashionable, go for it. Personally I like to mix my own style from a variety of other influences, modern and historical with some fashion trends.
It's definitely not just about what's fashionable. Consider what colours suit you, what shapes suit you, the fit, the quality and obviously what you actually like and not just what's "in."Fashion is important to the society that we know, as we often judge each other on what type of clothes we are wearing and if we are fashionable.

Fashion...Why do people follow
Fashion is a general term for a popular style or practice, especially in clothing, footwear, accessories, makeup, body piercing or furniture. Fashion refers to a distinctive and often habitual trend in the style with which a person dresses, as well as to prevailing styles in behaviour. Fashion also refers to the newest creations of textile designers. The more technical term, costume, has become so linked to the term "fashion" that the use of the former has been relegated to special senses like fancy dress or masquerade wear, while "fashion" means clothing more generally and the study of it. Although aspects of fashion can be feminine or masculine, some trends are androgynous.
It's a way that we signal "belonging" and "status" to one another.
It is a way for people to feel as if they "belong" but does everybody HAVE to follow the fashion. Not really. To me "follow fashion" is just another excuse for people to go out and spend well earned money on things they would most likely not wear again. the shoes i can understand, getting new clothes is a necessity but not buying the same or close to the same clothes as the celebs. And really, if it says cashmere are you really getting 100% of it? Most likely not...it's all a scam that so happens to work. Everybody does it from RL to PRADA...well lets not get into that one shall we..but my point is that you or anybody else shouldn't "follow" anything. This country has enough problems as is without everybody going broke trying to "belong". So maybe when anybody is out shopping, they would realize that they have something similar and that they really don't NEED it...i get what you're saying that they just want to "belong" but it's not a necessity to want anything, it's almost like an obsession
